This sketchbook of Sydney is a cartographic work on the idea of living elsewhere. Caroline Bouquet is a descendant of a master cartographer in France, but being on the other side of the world, in Australia, the concept of the map takes on its full meaning. Her journeys are immersions into different worlds, real and imaginary, with their own maps and emotions.

Bouquet also co-authored Hong Kong Five Senses (2007). Currently, Bouquet lives in Sydney with her family.
