FUNG, Lok

 

Natalia S. H. CHAN (Pseudonym: Lok Fung) is a poet and cultural critic. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature & Cultural Studies from The University of California, San Diego, and is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Cultural & Religious Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include film and cultural theory, gender studies, popular culture, performance studies, comparative literature, cross-dressing and fashion.

 

Her creative works include three volumes of poetry entitled Distance, Dislocation, and Flying Coffin, as well as two volumes of short stories entitled The Last Fairy Tale and The Carbon-Burning City.
